Kenneth Mbuvi is an Electrical & Telecommunication Engineer, previously an International Baccalaureate Diploma holder. He is professionally registered as a Graduate Engineer (B8928) with Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK). He is also a Certified LPIC-2 Linux Systems Engineer (LPI000340033) with Linux Professional Institute and SUSE Certified Linux Administrator (10279021) and SUSE 11 Tech Spec – SUSE Specializations (10279021).

He has specialized in Network Engineering, WordPress CMS & Web App Development and VoIP Telephony Infrastructure (Asterisk, 3CX, Twilio and FreePBX). He is also a Certified Linux Trainer and specialized in various Linux skills Linux Systems & Security, Mixed Environment (Integrating Linux and Windows Systems), Penetration Testing, PlaySMS & Kannel SMS Gateway, LAMP & Email Servers, High Availability & Clustering, Virtualization (Proxmox, Vmware, Redhat, SuSE, KVM, Citrix, Oracle), Cloud Computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and Linux Training for Corporate Staff.

He has also written Linux tutorial manuals, technology blog posts and web hosting & server guides for various web hosting and server hosting companies based in United States and United Kingdom. He has trained: Kenya Tea Development Agency (KTDA) ICT Staff in SuSE; ICT Authority of Kenya (ICTA) PDTP Interns in LPIC-1. He has also offered training and consultancy to Smart Zambia Institute (ICT Authority of Zambia) in collaboration with AFRALTI (African Advanced Level Telecommunications Institute) in RedHat Technologies i.e. Virtualization, Identity Management, Directory Services, Collaboration Services and Mobile Application Platform.
