Mr. Evanson Ikua is an experienced Project Manager with expertise in Management Systems Implementation, IT Risk Management, IT Governance, Compliance, Business Continuity, Information Security and Cyber Security, CoBIT IT Governance Framework Implementation, Capability Maturity Modelling, Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) implementation and other Quality Management systems.

He is PECB Certified Trainer, Certified Lead Pen Testing Professional, ISO 21500 Lead Project Manager, ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management Foundation, ISO/IEC 27032 Cyber Security Lead Manager, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer and ISO 14001 Lead Implementer.

He has experience in business development, training and capacity building, channel development, strategic planning and execution. Diverse experience managing enterprise projects in the private, public and development sectors.

The founding Chairman of the Linux Professional Association of Kenya (LPA Kenya), a business membership organization whose objective is the promotion of the use of Free and Open Source Software in Kenya for development.

Member of the Kenya Bureau of Standards technical committee on IT Security Techniques, the Kenyan ISO/IEC JTC1 SC27 mirror committee. Involved in the development and promotion of information security standards like ISO 27001.

Member of the board of Directors at Camara Educational Foundation – Kenya. Camara is an international non-profit organization involved in the promotion of the use of technology to advance education especially in developing countries.

Member of the Consultative Expert Working Group (CEWG), UNESCO’s Hydro Open-Source Software Platform of Experts (HOPE) Initiative. The CEWG is an interdisciplinary collaboration of experts working on a variety of activities in the field of ICT for integrated water resources management.
