Calvin Boshal is a Systems Engineer with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Telecommunications Engineering and Microsoft accreditations in Cloud Platform and Server infrastructure. He is professionally registered as a Graduate Engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) SNo B9345. He specializes in Cloud Computing and Data Center and is a certified MCSE (Cloud platform and Infrastructure), MCSA and MCP (Windows Server Technology).

His range of skills span data center management, cloud & virtualization, network engineering and automation, where he integrates technologies such as VMWare, Citrix, ESX Servers, google cloud among others, on a regular basis. His daily duties include cloud migrations, run book creations and workflow implementations, successful integration of system center components for customization and achievement of synergy, clustering, load balancing, and patching, monitoring and general server security and maintenance. He has also written a number of tutorials, manuals and technical articles on optimization of windows server technology, cloud computing and automation.

Having worked closely with professionals in banking, telecommunications, aviation and technology industries, he has mastered how to build strong relationships and how important integration is for progress. He has experienced the pressures of the banking industry, the irregularity of telecommunications, the fragile nature of aviation and acquired the expertise of information technology. He therefore brings a unique blend of experience that will be very useful for any organization.

Calvin is passionate about automation and has invested a lot of time on automation tools and scripting skills. In his spare time, he trains other professionals in his field of expertise and has partnered with TecFlax Limited to carry out more training sessions.
